This is training material
Contoso Insurance is a fictional company. This website was built as training material for a course on the Microsoft agent stack, and every policy, claim, repairer and phone number on it is invented. Nothing here is a real insurance product and none of it is financial advice.
What it is for
This site was built for a live build-along course on the Microsoft agent stack. It gives the course’s AI agents a realistic public knowledge source to work against: product cover, claims guidance, an approved repairer network and a set of frequently asked questions.
What is deliberately not here
Individual policy records, individual claim records, policyholder names and the postcodes used to verify callers are all absent by design. In the course those sit behind an identity check, and publishing them here would defeat the point of that exercise.
Everything is invented
- Contoso Insurance does not exist and is not authorised to sell insurance
- Telephone numbers, addresses and postcodes are invented
- The repairer firms are invented, including their approval status
- Cover terms and exclusions are written to be realistic rather than to be sold
Contoso is the fictional company name Microsoft uses across its own documentation and samples, which is why it is used here.
