Contoso Insurance is a general insurer covering motor, home and travel across the United Kingdom, from first notification through to settlement.
How we work
Roughly nine claims in ten settle without a person ever needing to intervene. Those claims are straightforward: the cover is clear, the evidence agrees with the account, and the money moves. Our job is to make that path fast and to notice quickly when a claim is not on it.
The tenth claim is the one that matters. It goes to a handler or to our complex claims desk, where a person owns it, the evidence is examined properly and the decision is written down. Knowing which claims belong in that tenth is the whole skill.
Straight through
Cover is clear and evidence agrees. Settled without intervention.
Handler review
Something needs a human eye, usually a gap between the damage and the quote.
Complex claims desk
Contested liability, unusual evidence or a large settlement. A named owner throughout.
